¿Acreditación para normalizar o educación para transformar?

Abstract

If education is one of the corner stones of democratic societies, why then should we insist in a control process to homogenize the diversity of human beings that conform them? What is being accredited and for what reason? As we thoroughly investigate these questions, we will analyze historical concepts such as discipline and control until we reach the modern date purposes and efforts to unify competences and standards that will consolidate the globalization project. In these scenarios, the primary characters such as professors, students, investigators and directives play a decisive role tipping the scale towards a transformation project.
