Abstract

Research is an activity, which is inherent to mankind, it has granted us survival since ancient times. On their urge to discover, men and women from different eras and cultures have implemented research to solve their inquiries regarding their surroundings, usually with the purpose of contributing to a better world. In this way, we move forward by giving explanations to events, that our ancestors would explain by attributing them to magical powers from supernatural beings, and by using a methodology. Nevertheless, in order to advance in scientific research processes, a bigger step is required: in order to acquire this kind of knowledge we need a systematic, organized and verifiable process, led by a researcher on his urge to make science.
