Effect of Tourism Activity Sustainable on the Local Agricultural Value Chain in Bogotá, Colombia

The objective of this paper is to establish the correlation of sustainable tourism activity and its effect on an agricultural value chain, its contribution to gross domestic product GDP and determining its impact in the city of Bogotá-Colombia during the period between 2010 to 2018. Official statistical data was used where sustainable hotel activity was analyzed as the dependent variable and the agricultural chain as the independent variable from a simple linear regression model. The result shows a significant relationship in the first half of the period of tourist activity and an influence on agricultural activity is observed. The need to establish an analysis method for future research on the impact of tourism on the different value chains of that city and other related economic activities is concluded.
