Perspectivas sobre a cadeia de valor na agricultura: uma revisão semi-sistemática da literatura.

Resumo

A cadeia de valor agrícola compreende uma série de estágios interconectados que visam agregar valor aos produtos alimentícios, desde a produção até o consumo final. Ao longo desse processo, vários atores colaboram e contribuem especificamente para melhorar a qualidade e o valor do produto. Cada elo da cadeia agrega valor ao produto, desde o plantio e a colheita até o processamento, o transporte, o marketing e a venda ao consumidor. Esta revisão semi-sistemática da literatura concentra-se em sintetizar e examinar os elementos mais significativos da pesquisa nesse campo, bem como em discernir os debates atuais em torno da cadeia derivada da produção agrícola. Os resultados desse estudo revelam uma variedade de tópicos importantes de pesquisa, organizados em seis categorias principais: qualidade de vida e renda, empreendedorismo e compreensão da cadeia, contexto de mercado, inovação e tecnologia, sustentabilidade e segurança alimentar e riscos relacionados à perecibilidade e às perdas pós-colheita. Essas informações são relevantes para entender o estado atual da pesquisa e os principais desafios enfrentados pelos diversos atores envolvidos na cadeia de valor agrícola, desde os produtores até os consumidores finais, e abordar essas questões é crucial para melhorar a eficiência, a sustentabilidade e a segurança na cadeia de produção de alimentos.
