There are many reasons why organizations seek a constant evolution today, mainly we can sense that the environment in which they live is no longer stable as it was many years ago, today we find a dynamic and unstable environment which organizations have to face and therefore are practically forced to adjust; changing environmental factors and demand, have had companies change their structures, modify their processes and improve their products and services. This need has led organizations to search for mechanisms that enable them to give quick and economic responses to the demands that arise in the environment and in turn make them more competitive. Organizational development is the key for any organization that decides to face the challenges of environment and society, to evolve significantly and remain steadily. In the following essay we will cover topics such as its concept, history, evolution, models and processes.
