This article is the result of the Strategic Configuration of Miles & Snow in Small and Medium Hotels: the Barranquilla, Colombia Case research project. It aims to identify the strategic configurations of Boutique hotels in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia. The research that was carried out was of a quantitative type and a descriptive nature; a survey-type information collection instrument was applied based on the strategic profles proposed by Miles and Snow, using the competitive factors of Robinson and Pearce. The instrument was applied to 60 Boutique hotels in the city. The data processing technique used was the analysis of means to characterize each competitive profle. As the main conclusion, it can be indicated that the Boutique hotels studied have a heterogeneous strategic profile; there is no predominant strategic profile in the sample studied.
