Currently, Colombia is living in an environment of conflict and inequality that leads to situations of social injustice within the different regions over the country, many of them lacking opportunities to meet basic needs for sustained and sustainable development of the community. Though the economy is one of the driving forces behind the harmonious development of a country, it is the education in values the transverse axis, that works as a spearhead for the creation of a caring society, eager for peace and solid democratic foundations. That’s why higher education institutions of our beloved Colombia, should consider as one of its objectives outline its humanistic training structure to a culture of solidarity, based on the development of critical thinking and diversity, to guide with a look consequent to the new professional in all disciplines to the questioning of national social problems, looking for generate an environment of peace to face the post-conflict era in Colombia
