This research adresses the character and magnitude of the relationship between the epistemological assumptions of curricular guidelines in political training, specifically the Political Constitution and Democracy Guidelines (PCDG), and the peace criteria within societies that go through post-conflict phases. This paper presents a structure that covers three principal aims: The identification of criteria for peace (recognition and redistribution) and its link to build more peaceful and fair societies. The analysis of the liaison between those criteria and the curricular guidelines for political education, and, finally, the reconfiguration of the curricular guidelines for political education in the middle of post-conflict scenarios. Base don that, it is concluded that there is a bond between PCDG and peace, however such relationship must be reinforced by mean of a focus on the subject, the people, and a reflection approach towards justice, peace, and democracy.
