Análisis del teletrabajo en las agencias de viajes turísticas en la ciudad de Cartagena-Colombia

El presente artículo de investigación evalúa la conveniencia del teletrabajo en las agencias de viajes en Cartagena, Colombia. El tipo de investigación abordada fue descriptivo-analítica y se diseñó una herramienta estructurada in situ, la cual fue aplicada a los gerentes y administradores de 26 agencias de viajes del sector turístico registradas formalmente en la Cámara de Comercio de Cartagena. Como resultado se identificó que el teletrabajo como alternativa laboral, representa un futuro prometedor, debido a que el 58% de las empresas están de acuerdo en implementar esta alternativa laboral, siendo conscientes de todas las contribuciones en el desempeño administrativo, incremento de la productividad, la motivación y la disposición de los colaboradores. Se concluye que el 96% de las agencias de viajes utilizan las TIC como una herramienta significativa para impulsar las ventas y solo el 4% no las utilizan, lo que facilita la adaptación del teletrabajo en el sector analizado.
