The journal ENTRAMADO presents the abstract compendium of the V Colombian Meeting on Engineering and Social Development (V ECIDS), held in Santiago de Cali (Colombia) in September 2025, in collaboration with the Colombian Network of Engineering and Social Development (RECIDS) and the host institutions.
This compendium brings together a selection of scholarly contributions that address the role of engineering in social development from interdisciplinary and applied perspectives. The included works reflect current research trends, as well as diverse methodological approaches and analyses aimed at understanding and addressing socio-technical challenges in specific contexts.
Through this publication, ENTRAMADO contributes to the visibility and dissemination of knowledge in the field, promoting academic exchange and the strengthening of research agendas aligned with sustainable development and societal well-being.
