Between work and family: A study two dual-income couples

The research aims to establish indicators of conflict working - family in two middleclass couples, between 25 and 45, both working three jobs in mode, one in informal work; recognized as specific objectives identifying factors most common psychosocial risk and recognition of the modulating variables on work-family relationship. The study was descriptive qualitative where content analysis was used through a semi-structured interview. The results showed working conditions indicating overload and stressful conditions; more time is devoted to work at home, the family remains more flexible limits versus work; gender differences indicate that men continue to receive higher revenues and despite the work overload, women still have a role of greater implication in the home. The findings indicate that the workload, conflict and role ambiguity remains one of the most disturbing features conflict at work - family and confirmed that women perceive the demands of parallel versus men who apprehend sequentially.
