The mercantile customs in Barranquilla

The paper presented to the academic community is a product of a decade of work ranging from normative analysis and fieldwork to the constant adaptation and training of human capital in the last decade. In effect, after two years of validity, the interinstitutional agreement between the Universidad Libre and the Barranquilla Chamber of Commerce has yielded results of the most varied nature allowing the researcher of the present to offer an overview of the results obtained during this uninterrupted space of scientific activities. Of course, all this process is done with the conviction that it is not possible to conclude, since trade is volatile, so that the spaces of legislative indeterminacy will soon appear, which allows the mercantile custom to become the ideal tool to permeate in these spaces. Thus, this paper offers a balance of the results obtained in the various editions, in which the macro project of mercantile customs in the city of Barranquilla DEIP has been executed.
