This article analyzes the resilience of the tourism sector in the Colombian Caribbean region in the midst of the public health crisis generated by Covid-19, analyzes the cases of the departments of this Colombian region where tourism represents one of its main productive bets and how the affectation of the pandemic by Covid-19 has generated regrettable socio-economic indicators for all the actors of the tourism activity. Was carried out, a documentary review was carried out, establishing a search parameter with the use of keywords such as “tourism; Covid-19; resilience” in scientific databases such as Web of Science, Science Direct, recognized for the sustained quality of their publications; in addition to going to local newspapers to know the contextual situation. The search yielded a result of 753 scientific articles in the referenced databases, 40 scientific articles were chosen without reference to the geographic location or context where the research was applied, in order to consider the generic aspects of the topic addressed. However, another search criterion associated with research of this type in Colombia was taken into account, obtaining 5 results. The results reveal the sector’s capacity to face the crisis, a strong influence of informality in the activity, and the state leadership with the application of strategies to assume the socioeconomic crisis.References
