Abstract

Introduction: Quality of life at work seeks worker satisfaction considering the interaction between objective (company) and subjective (worker) aspects. Return to work generates organizational changes based on labor restrictions. Little has been studied on this subject from the point of view of colleagues in the process.

Objective: To explore how co-workers perceive the quality of life at work in reincorporated workers.

Methods: A qualitative design study was carried out. The in-depth interview technique was used. There were six co-workers of workers who are in the process of reincorporation. The analysis was carried out from the reading and rereading of the transcribed interviews carried out with each of the participants, organizing the information according to the scheme proposed by Patton with the following aspects: Experience and behavior, Opinion / value, Feelings, Knowledge, Sensory.

Results: From the perspective of co-workers, the quality of life at work is perceived and the return to work process from the affectation in the health condition which represents work restrictions to work, it is perceived as the fulfillment of contractual rights, without productive activities, which generates mistrust, with the presence of workplace harassment and in general, which affects the quality of life of work in the reincorporated worker.

Conclusion: Co-workers perceive that work restrictions in reincorporation affect participation in the work context and therefore quality of life at work.
