Working women: Systematic review

Women are becoming visible subjects of study in the field of occupational health, considering gender differences that specify different risk exposures and specific occupational morbidity. However, even though these changes health problems and sickness related to work have been little studied. Even today women are not played in many fields because it is present the belief that there is unsafe for them to work and found that the disease is caused by biological and psychological susceptibility, determining a barrier to equal access and limiting for research on women and occupational subject.
Objetive: To describe the state of the art posted regarding working women in Latin America in the period 1994 - 2014.
Methodology: A systematic review of research published between 1994 and 2014 on the basis of Redalyc, Scielo and Medicine® data was performed with the use keywords working woman. Results: 30 articles were selected, 15 qualitative and 15 quantitative, which were grouped by topic into categories: Morbidity, contextualization of women's work, health promotion and disease prevention, public policies, disorders musculoskeletal, social movements feminists, female workplace Violence Training and female labor.
Conclusion: The reviewed studies address the problems of working women in the historical context, public policy, their morbidity and their perception of reality.
