Abstract

Traditionally, clinical cases contain a broad description of the symptoms, signs, diagnoses, and treatment of a novel event in a well-known or unknown disease, i.e., rare clinical events (1). This information is obtained from a single patient or a small group of patients. This usually leads to important, unknown, or uncommon observations of a health event. Ultimately, they can allow for a better approach to these diseases that present the same symptoms and signs (rare or uncommon) or for educational purposes (1). For this reason, a clinical case has several uses, so it must be structured and written appropriately.
