Interdisciplinary Journal of Epidemiology and Public Health is a scientific journal published by the Universidad Libre, Cali, Colombia. Promote research and dissemination of research and knowledge in the different fields and disciplines of public health and epidemiology in order to strengthen the academic level of professions related to public health to promote the role of epidemiology. and public health as a tool to improve the quality of life of the population. It seeks to stimulate scientific reflection in the field of epidemiology and public health. To achieve the objectives, it facilitates the publication of original research articles, reviews and publications of general interest in epidemiology and public health. Authors are free to submit articles in other areas not considered here, if they are in the full interest of the public health audience. The journal publishes original articles, comments, letters to the editor, discussion or reflection articles, consensuses, topic and systematic reviews and public policy. It also has a section called health technology and IJEPH can receive proposals for programs, application of programs and their evaluation. To collect the daily life of epidemiologist and public health workers, it presents a section called experience where, as an essay, the researcher can tell about some enriching experience in the field of research or in the solution of problems related to public health.
General information
The journal is published twice a year on a rolling-pass. Articles are accepted with the understanding that they are original data from research projects duly approved by the Ethics and Institutional Research Committees and that they have not been simultaneously submitted to another journal.
