INNOVATION KEY ELEMENT FOR MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES AND SUSTAINABILITY IN ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL AND FINANCIAL TERMS

Abstract

The agricultural sector is part of an essential economic sector for the development of the country, it is the support of humanity and throughout history it has faced changes of various origins, whether natural, biological, or internal, which threaten its continuity as a company. Therefore, the objecti- ve of this reflection article focuses on analyzing innovation as a key element for management and sustainability strategies for the agricultural sector in Mexico. The methodological process is based on a literature review about the evolution and importance of agriculture, also allowing to identify the antecedents and theoretical bases of the reflection, through this it is possible to understand the importance of sustainable development in the agricultural sector through the innovation processes, thus generating different reflective aspects that may be useful in the business and academic field.
