Mechanism of logistics operators in the achievement of projects for the generation of value

Port logistics has experienced important technological advances aimed at improving response times in cargo distribution and its constant monitoring, which guarantees the systematization of shipments and allows highlighting customer and supplier information in order to improve the experience. purchase and service quality (Molina et al., 2022). This research aims to identify and analyze project management as a crucial factor for the efficient and sustainable performance of port logistics in supply networks at a national and international level (Paisig & Rabanal, 2021). The methodology adopted is based on an epistemic approach that uses dialectical methods, along with techniques to identify logical operators within the value chain. The analysis unit is made up of 24 companies in the port sector in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia.The main findings of this study highlight the positive impact of project management in optimizing the performance of logistics networks at a global level, which contributes to the generation of value in decision making under the direction of the project manager. In summary, this work focuses on the importance of project management in the field of port logistics and its influence on the supply chain, both nationally and internationally. The methodology used is empirical in nature and has a significant impact on strategic decision making, thus supporting the generation of value in this context.
