Organizational culture and safety culture: a review of the literature

Introduction: Currently, generating a competitive and productive organizational development in companies implies a constant construction of the organizational culture and the safety culture. This is mainly since they promote socially responsible human behavior at work that guarantees the quality of life of employees and the prevention of occupational diseases and accidents.
Objective: Determine the possible implications of the safety culture in the management of human talent in organizations.
Methods: Were made a bibliometric analysis of the research carried out in the last twenty years, limited to the areas of knowledge of administration, business, and accounting; using the Vos Viewer software for the registration, tabulation, and interpretation of the information.
Results: The latest trends that are associated with organizational culture are shown; safety culture; the monitoring of labor safety in the workplace; training, teaching, and continuous learning of good practices on occupational safety.
Conclusions: It is proposed as a future line of research: the influence of the safety culture on the results of the implementation of training and training plans on occupational health and safety issues. Likewise, it is proposed to contrast the effect of the execution of these training and training plans on the safety climate in organizations.
