O impacto do gênero do gerente no desempenho organizacional: análise em PMEs

Com base na participação das mulheres no mercado de trabalho, a perspectiva de gênero tem sido um fator de análise nos estudos organizacionais. Esta pesquisa determina o impacto do gênero do gerente no desempenho organizacional das PMEs em Santiago de Cali, Colômbia, aplicando metodologias qualitativas e quantitativas, revisando a literatura acadêmica entre 2012-2017 e aplicando regressões lineares simples aos dados obtidos através de um questionário preparado com base no modelo de medição de desempenho de Quinn e Rohrbaugh e aplicado a 354 PME da cidade. Os resultados encontrados foram comparados com o estudo quantitativo desenvolvido sobre PMEs em Santiago de Cali, Colômbia. Conclui-se que existem variações positivas no desempenho das PMEs de acordo com o gênero do gerente e de acordo com as variáveis de análise implementadas, no contexto do desenvolvimento de negócios locais. Por esse motivo, os gerentes de PME devem contrastar o ambiente local com seus elementos internos e, a partir disso, reestruturar suas políticas para reduzir a diferença de gênero no local de trabalho.
