Abstract

Background: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a tool of a voluntary nature, which involves a genuine interest in human talent, environment and society, surpassing legal compliance. Its purpose is to promote a series of actions related to the organizational strategy. The promotion of well-being and quality of life at work is a basic component of CSR, and the actions developed around this goal represent an opportunity to effectively manage psychosocial risk factors.

Objective: Investigate the contribution of CSR strategies in the intervention of psychosocial risk factors.

Methods: Narrative review using terms of the International Labour Organization: "Corporate Responsibility, "Psychosocial Risks", "Risk Management" and "Business Strategy" in the Springer databases, PubMed, Dialnet, ScienceDirect and SciELO. The period analyzed was from 2009 to 2022, the selected language English and Spanish.

Results: It is evident that the strategies and good practices advanced by the organizations in the framework of CSR contribute positively to the effective management of psychosocial risk factors, positively impacting the well-being and quality of life of workers.

Conclusions: A contribution of the social approach of CSR in the well-being and quality of life of workers is recognized, elements that are evaluated in the instruments of identification of psychosocial risk factors.
