Diagnosis of occupational safety and health in the non-state sector

Abstract

In Cuba it is opened news forms of bussines in the not state sector, so that sector that was minimal in the population it is growing now. Belong to this sector does not exonerate of the adequate protection to the health the individual. In Moa, for his ample industrial development, it´s pay especial attention to this subject like the way of accident prevention and the provider of worker´s quality life. Objective: Offer information to the pertinent organisms about the situation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) in the non state sector that it will allow the strengthening and perfecting of the mechanisms of state and syndical control. Methods: The opinion poll like empiric instrument for the anthology of the information and the analysis of reliability for the opinion poll. It is utilizes a procedure that includes the Delphi Method and Kendall is Method. Results: The most negative elements in the attention of the OHS of the non state sector is the not possession of resources for personal protection, the ignorance of legislation and the fact of it does not take measurements to abate or to eliminate the risks at work. Conclusions: The attention to this activity at the sector does not constitute a priority, caused for be an incipient activity, also for not conceive like a requirement for the granting or withdrawal of licenses, besides the vision of the OHS like a cost that does not enable the intentional orientation of the OHS management in this sector like a immediate need.
