Mototaxismo y movilidad urbana: un análisis bibliométrico del transporte informal global

Resumen

Este artículo presenta una revisión bibliométrica de la literatura científica sobre el mototaxismo y su relación con el transporte público informal, analizando su evolución, relevancia académica y principales tendencias de investigación. Se empleó una metodología sustentada en la base de datos Scopus, reconocida por su cobertura de revistas arbitradas, estandarización de metadatos e indicadores de citación, utilizando términos de búsqueda como "motorcycle taxis" e "informal public transportation". A partir de los criterios de inclusión definidos, la muestra final quedó conformada por 183 artículos publicados entre 2015 y 2024. Se analizaron indicadores bibliométricos como la Ley de Lotka y la Ley de Bradford, identificando tendencias en producción científica, cooperación internacional y concentración temática en revistas claves. Los hallazgos revelan un crecimiento anual del 11,82 % en la producción indexada en Scopus, con énfasis en temas asociados a movilidad urbana, economía informal, seguridad vial, condiciones laborales y regulación del transporte. Así mismo, se identifica una participación latinoamericana visible dentro de la muestra, aunque limitada por los criterios de indexación, idioma y búsqueda propios de la base empleada. En consecuencia, los resultados deben interpretarse como una aproximación bibliométrica al comportamiento de la literatura científica indexada en Scopus, y no como una representación exhaustiva de toda la producción académica sobre mototaxismo. El estudio contribuye a comprender la consolidación del mototaxi como objeto de investigación y sus implicaciones en el análisis del transporte urbano informal.
