The dimensions of the conflict and overcoming of violence in Colombia

The present work is born of the personal and academic accumulated around the problem of peace in Colombia and the practical exercise of it under the current context, with communities and professionals who think a fair way out of their problems, and the development of dynamics that contribute in the construction of a positive peace in Colombia. Methodologically, the main concepts are contrasted with the practice and some examples of the Colombian reality for a better understanding. It was found that beyond the ramblings on the concepts, the violence happens directly on the bodies, minds and territories and this is precisely what is worth highlighting in order to find practical and not only theoretical solutions to the conflict. It is concluded that it is necessary to characterize conflict, violence and peace to find the best way to approach the practical elements of society and the Colombian system.
