Abstract

Mental disorders such as depression, panic disorder, generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, among others, have always existed, but the conditions of our society related to the market, production, knowledge, etc., imply for people with high levels of demand, as well as other ways of relating, with others, with technology, making the environment highly competitive, all these pressures can push mental health to the limit. This is evident in the increasing number of people with mental health problems that health entities report, including suicide within the mortality figures. The consequences of mental problems can also lead to physical repercussions such as: musculoskeletal pain, gastric disorders, weakening of the immune system, heart disease and other conditions.
