Abstracts of the IV Workshop of adsorption catalysis and porous materials. Bogota, Colombia, November 16-18, 2022

Abstract

For several years now, the Porous Solids and Calorimetry Research Group of the Department of Chemistry of the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) has been developing a series of activities in which distinguished international researchers have participated, in areas such as adsorption, catalysis and applied calorimetry. These were initially developed as seminars and became what seven years ago was called the I Conference on Adsorption and Porous Materials, which was initially planned as a national activity and which included the participation of six invited professors, including four international ones. In this sense, it was proposed to give continuity to this event thanks to the unrestricted support of the Department of Chemistry and the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidad de los Andes, in this way the II and III Workshop on Adsorption, Catalysis and Porous Material (II and III) were organized. III WACPM) whose fundamental objective continued to be to bring together professors and researchers of international prestige to share their experiences and knowledge with the participants of the event, as well as create spaces for collaboration and continuity with the existing ones.
On this occasion, the IV WACPM will be held, in collaboration with the Universidad de América, Universidad de la Guajira, Universidad Libre de Barranquilla, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and Universidad del Rosario to promote the space for formative research and a meeting between scientists, colleagues, friends and students.
