Abstract

This article presents the results to the description realized of the evaluation criteria of competence in the process of practices of industrial engineering students of the Universidad Libre Seccional Barranquilla. For this research the authors had as theoretical and normative modals the guidelines of the business practice of the faculty of engineering of the Universidad Libre Seccional Barranquilla. The investigation presented in this article is of type descriptive and applied. The information was obtained from sources such as: data reported by the coordination of practices of the University, files of previous studies, detailed report on the evaluations that were realized and it was used as instrument depth interview. According to the results of the assessments that have been granted to practitioners by the companies they were really satisfactory, where it is possible concluded that the practitioner of Industrial Engineering has the ability to work in different sectors of the economy and this way put at the disposal of these all the knowledge that he has along the career
