The need to contribute to the production process regarding the automation allowed to construct a tank storage system for potable water, designing and implementing a monitoring system for displaying two different variables: temperature and tank level optical sensor (level tank with capacitive sensor). For that purpose, a parameterization and sensors curve adjustment was achieved to send the signal to a development board which allows to capture analog variables. Using the analog-digital converter, digital signal processing is reached and the result is transmitted via serial port to a PC where LabView software was designed. Information in real time is displayed and the software gives the customer the option of visualizing the behavior of single or multiple sensors.
