Este papel considera la pregunta: “Ante los cambios en la demanda del dinero como resultado de un aumento de riesgo por los agentes económicos, ¿cuáles son las acciones apropiadas que Banco central debería tomar? “ como un punto de partida para una conclusión normativa sobre la conveniencia de un régimen monetario con un monopolio Estatal del suministro de dinero, la respuesta es moneda legal forzada versus la alternativa de suministro de dinero competitivo.
