Competitiveness of software development organizations requires knowledge of the various existing methods on the market in order to adopt the one that lead to successful completion of the project taking into account the conditions of quality proposals for a software product. For this reason, this article talks about the advances in the management of software development projects using an agile methodology and those that have applied the CMMI-DEV model, both nationally and internationally.
