Abstract

Currently display phenomena or situations involving two or more individuals with opposing benefits and the possibility of different strategies in order to neutralize its opponent, which is why game theory has become an analytical tool and necessary to facilitate the decisionmaking process and achieve the objectives proposed in the strategies. With the implementation of game theory in the Colombian professional football, League Postobón shows the different strategies that a shooter must decide to score a goal in a penalty and face the strategies that have the goal keeper to neutralize it. An analysis of behavioral pattern data from the collections of penalty shots, and under the frame of reference of the body of knowledge of game theory is to provide a quantitative model to facilitate the decision making process to stakeholders.
