Sustainability of the value chain: bibliometric analysis of the literature

The sustainability of the value chain has been a topic of great importance in the scientific literature, due to its impact on organizations in order to carry out their businesses in a sustainable manner. The objective of the article addressed was to carry out a bibliometric analysis of the scientific literature and summarize the contributions of the most outstanding works in the academic field. Statistical techniques were applied for the analysis of the main sources, the most cited authors on the subject, their analysis by geographical area, among others. The results show the use of methods to measure and monitor the results achieved in the area of sustainability and the value chain.
