Abstract

The following article presents the different elements of indigenous and popular thought raised by Rodolfo Kusch from the work bearing the same name, with the purpose of establishing a relationship between the main aspects of such thought with what the Argentine philosopher defines as landscape. The structure of the chapter begins with a first section where, from Kusch's perspective, the central axes of indigenous and popular thought are approached from scenarios such as knowledge, ritual, the relationship of opposites, the thus and the seminality. In a second moment, it is presented the way in which the action of indigenous and popular thought is glimpsed towards the construction of the American being through the landscape.
