Gestión de la ecoinnovación en MiPymes en Colombia

Resumen

Problemáticas actuales como la contaminación y el cambio climático obligan a que las empresas adopten en sus procesos un enfoque hacia la sostenibilidad y la protección al medio ambiente. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo abordar la ecoinnovación en Micro, Pequeña o Mediana Empresa de las actividades económicas comercial, alojamiento y servicios de comida y manufacturera que son las más representativas por número de unidades en el país con el fin de establecer como han ido adoptando una orientación hacia la Gestión Estratégica Ambiental y cuáles han sido los motivantes y limitantes para adoptar prácticas verdes. Se toma una muestra de 96 empresas de las actividades económicas más representativas ya mencionadas en la jurisdicción de la Cámara de Comercio de Pasto y para recolectar la información se aplicó un cuestionario a los gerentes. Los resultados indican que al menos las empresas ya cuentan con políticas ambientales y su principal motivación para adoptar un enfoque verde es el cumplimiento de la normatividad y evitar ser sancionadas. Aunque no perciben grandes dificultades a la hora de realizar un cambio en sus prácticas hacia temas ambientales es claro que aún no se dimensiona la importancia de proyectar una imagen favorable ante los consumidores que hoy en día dan un mayor valor a aquellas organizaciones que ofrecen bienes y servicios ecoamigables.
