TEACHING TO INVESTIGATE: Challenge for the University of the 21st Century

In the society of knowledge management, teaching research and research to teach is a key activity for scientific production as a contribution to the human, social, scientific, technological and environmental development of 21st century society. These two types of processes constitute two different practices, that of producing new knowledge and that of teaching how to produce it. The development of this study allows delineating some elements to build the most suitable spaces for the development of knowledge management processes, together with the processes of development of investigative competences. In this intention, the objective of this research is to contribute to the analysis and understanding of the processes of teaching to investigate in the context of "training of researchers" from the development of research skills in students and teachers to generate management processes of knowledge. In the society of knowledge management, teaching research and research to teach is a key activity for scientific production as a contribution to human, social, scientific, technological and environmental development, towards the training of researchers at the University of the century XXI.
