Administrative corruption in public procurement

This article deals with the phenomenon of administrative corruption, its definition and scope defined by the doctrine, as well as its legal framework, where the existing criminal types are indicated. Likewise, the factors that determine it are indicated. When identifying its causes, the harmful consequences that this phenomenon has for society and the State are pointed out, and the way in which it can be fought starting from the criminal law, with the investigation, judgment and condemnation of this behavior. Likewise, emphasis is placed on the need to prevent crime from the awareness of officials to use state resources for their public purposes, and with the participation of citizens exercising control over their management.
