Metodología para evaluación de oleoductos aplicado a corrosión externa
Keywords:
Risk Analysis, Fallure, Consequences, ECDA regionAbstract
A methodology is presented for the evaluation andassessment of the corrosion risk in oil pipelines appliedto external corrosion insurance. For ensure safeoperation of these pipelines, an module was developedon computer tool in order to allow and make easier tomanagement, analysis and evaluation all the informationof the pipeline to determine the faults probability andtheir possible consequences. As first stage, the risk isevaluated processing the existent information and bymeans of a methodology that have been proveneffectively are established indexes of risk and faultsconsequences, the results are presented on a matrix risk.Subsequently and with the purpose of knowing theseverity of the external corrosion to proceed to value ofexternal corrosion direct assessment (ECDA). To valuethe methodology and the developed tool, a corrosion riskanalysis was performed for the oil pipeline AltoMagdalena (OAM).
