Abstract

The author proposes to reveal the implications in the educational process of some elements that are usually ignored when dealing with the learning environment context theme. Under a predominantly critical - descriptive focus, the author lists and calls up –as a MUST– the following elements in school environments: knowledge, feelings and actions, etc. to address the relationship of the school with the environment, information technologies, communication aspects (language, words), play activities, recess, relations inside the school, policies, conduct of school community members, the teacher’s role, infrastructure, materials, socio-cultural aspects (values, school conflict) , socio-economic aspects (labor law, inequities).
