GUIDELINES FOR THE REVIEWER

Papers sent to Ingeniare must strictly comply with all the indications for the submission of manuscripts described in the "Guidelines for authors" section.

Literature references must conform to the IEEE format. Special care is requested in the evaluation of the keywords (DeCS - MeSH) and the structure of the abstract of the paper for Original Research, Review Papers and Update Papers.

In addition to the formal aspects, the peer reviewers, within their expertise, must assess the significance of the content of the paper and its relevance to the scientific community and whether the work should be published. The reviewers must answer each of the items in the evaluation format (if the type of paper is applicable), give their comments on it and give their judgment, which consists of 3 options: Accept Submission, Revisions Required and decline submission.

Accept Submission (without modifications). The reviewer chooses this option if they recommend that the submission can be accepted as is.

Revisions Required (Accept submission with modifications). The reviewer thinks the paper needs slight modifications.

Reject Submission. The reviewer recommends the paper not to be accepted.

Finally, the reviewers will be able to make comments to the authors to improve the paper both in the blind version and in the evaluation format.

The objectives of the peer review process of the Ingeniare journal are:

- To verify the quality of research before being published.

- To identify errors unnoticed by the authors.

- To provide feedback to authors to improve their research processes.

One of the key requirements of peer review is confidentiality, and therefore we request not to share the reviewed with third parties.
