Protocol to perform factor analysis on variables that affect working conditions

This work describes the steps that must be carried out to apply the multivariate factor analysis technique. It presents the list of statistics and criteria that must be taken into account to validate whether the factor analysis technique is appropriate for the case study. The target population is individuals of working age from the city of Monteria, Córdoba department, Colombia. The sample was 642 individuals. The goals of the study included the construction of the protocol, the description of the variables that influence working conditions and finally a proposal for a measurement model in order to relate the indexes or observed variables and the latent variables or factors
