Implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance to the teams of the production process in the Equiaceros SAS company

Abstract

Within the productive sectors of Mosquera Cundinamarca, some companies offer services in the metalworking area, among which is the Company EQUIACEROS SAS, in which the implementation of Preventive and Predictive maintenance was carried out on the equipment involved in the process of production through an analysis in the prediction of the failure history, operating principles and standards, times and operational contexts, it is for this reason that the research proposed a model that includes RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), since it is essential to analyze the behavior of the teams, for later; make decisions that improve quality and productivity, seeking to reduce process costs. This methodology was based on FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) through classification and hierarchy of equipment, fault coding, calculation of RPN (risk priority number), which serves to establish the activities of maintenance that will be carried out in the company. The elaboration of the maintenance plan will allow keeping the performance indicators of the equipment evaluating the useful life of the same. The results obtained will support the services provided by the company EQUIACEROS SAS, it being essential that the machinery or equipment does not stop under any circumstances; because today the metalworking industry demands high levels of production. The purpose of this project is to support future research to improve maintenance management where skills will be applied that allow operations to be controlled, as well as to perform inspection frequencies and routines, improving equipment reliability indicators.
