Political power and the meaning of the land. A polyphonic political perspective for the improvement of the life conditions of the peasant

Abstract

Social component in the rural world is shown in this article, esteeming its historical, political and cultural significance; the same way, it recognizes the sense and meaning of the land as a place in the space dimension in the own voice and words of the countrymen, rural inhabitants, which becomes the central target of the study. A reflection is made on the land in the colombian rural space connected to the feeling ot that person who daily feels the land, then being his memory the possibility to display the past, the present and the future, finding its value in his testimony and recognizing it as the countryman social reality in the present rural life. In the methodological chess, taken from three contexts, the place, the object and the subject, the word of the peasant is shown in their experiences, feelings and reflections, to conclude that their means of life should be considered for the construction of the country-nation where his self-respect be recognized to guarantee the plain conditions to permit their full achievement and performance as subjects.
