The goal with this reflection article is to study Michael Sandel’s idea of human bodily nature. This idea is not able to be separate from its sensible part and its spiritual component, even more if we stay to the tripartite notion of the Man: body, soul and spirit.
That is why the study of human bodily nature means the complete Man’s world. Research group of San Raimundo de Peñafort Santo Tomás University-Bogotá tries to unravel that concept since the human bodily nature perspective as we said. This idea of Michael Sandel is really important in the present not only in Anglo Saxon’s world but in Latin America as well, specially in this academic group.
Perhaps his greatest contribution is from the communitarian point of view: exists in communities an assessment by the corporeal human nature.
