The lack of measurement and follow-up in the colombian mypes: A cultural issue or a reflection of a lack of business training of its managers?

In this article, an analysis of the causes that are generating the closure of a large number of companies within the MyPes sector (small and medium-sized companies) in Colombia will be carried out, and it is carried out within the framework of the analysis of three fundamentals aspects on which we provide the basis for the cause of the closing of more than 80% of the companies that are created every year in Colombia. The problem of the unproductiveness and final closure of a large number of them is analyzed, due to a basically cultural subject of informality and lack of business training of the managers and area heads of all these organizations.
It reflects on the possibility of the existence of fundamental business practices such as permanent Measurement and Monitoring that are not handled with discipline, or simply have been abandoned and require a rethinking and implementation by the entrepreneurs.
