Abstract

This project consisted of designing and building a ROV (Remote Operating Vehicle) type underwater drone, capable of diving up to 20 meters underwater. The idea was for the submarine to be equipped with a camera and various types of sensors (temperature, accelerometer - gyroscope, sonar, TDS). The drone is controlled from the surface, where the camera image is also transmitted in real time, along with the information gathered by the sensors. This drone was designed to perform functions of exploration, research, and analysis of bodies of water, which presents various potential applications that could be assessed in the future (detection of pollution, inspection of reservoirs and vessels, ecosystem photography, etc.).
