Street Theft Characterization: Modalities and Techniques. Training Model for the Colombian National Police

This article aims to address the description of the typology of street theft in the locality three of Santa Fe in the center of the city of Bogotá, in the park "the butterfly", in addition to the impact on security and the perception of the criminal phenomenon. According to the studied environment, different edges are evidenced to counteract crime by the authorities, in addition to the description of the police training model to improve the suitability of the uniformed. In order to contribute to the aforementioned, it is intended to describe the particularities of theft, as well as to develop in students the skills to respond in police activity.
