Abstract

Following the death of Dworkin, it was thought that profuse papers would be written on his life and work, which in fact, was not the case. Dworkin is a renovator of American thought which gave new life to the doctrine of natural law, but several of his thesis do not seem to fit into this conception. A lot of arguments have been made about the influence of Dworkin, but in different writings, there is no mention of Leibniz, who had already addressed similar issues to those raised by the Anglo thinker.
