Typologies of Judicial Processes in the Department of Atlantic in Colombia (2016-2021)

In the exercise of the administrative function of the authorities, sometimes different legal situation generated are controversial before the judges of the administrative jurisdiction. The foregoing determines the need for defense of public entities. These actions are submitted to trial before specially constituted judicial authorities. Administrative litigation settles disputes in which public entities are involved. In fact, public entities are supposed to direct their actions to make more effective the rights recognized in the constitution and always act in compliance with the legal order. Thus, the different forms of action of the administrative authorities, such as acts, facts, omissions, operations, and contracts, also diversify the means of control established by law to resolve conflicts before the administrative jurisdiction. As a result, this generates discrepancies in the exercise of the administrative function. Through this article, some sentences that were presented against the Department of Atlantic between the years 2016-2021 will be analyzed, in order to know the judicial precedent.
