Collective work through development groups

an institutional betterment strategy

Abstract

Teaching has been considered traditionally an individual task; this idea worked adequately for a long period of time; however, the evident cultural and social changes and the acknowledgement of the complexity of the educational process have forced the acknowledgement of the need to form groups and work teams. In this research project, it is understood that there is a need to construct relations based on trust, a basic human attitude that sets the foundations for the grasping and transformation of the world with collective actions. In the place where the study was carried out (Antonio Villavicencio school), writing became an objective, a goal and evidence of a pedagogical reflection on the teaching-learning process, considered as a living process susceptible of being transformed with the intentional actions of participant teachers.
